So, as you recently may have scene I will be going to Japan from 5/20 until 6/1. This means there is lots of time to do things. I’m going to post the list of things I have planned so far. I have a couple friends that will be showing me around tokyo and also in gunma, so there’s a good chance that I’ll go do things that aren’t on this list as well. So, I recently started a new show for the spring anime season called Sankarea, and I have to say I’m pretty impressed. I initially watched this show out of sheer boredom, but got hooked right after the first couple episodes. Check out my review after the jump!

Plot: “This is the story of Furuya, a 15 year old boy who is obsessed with zombies. From videos to manga, trinkets to video games, he will stop at nothing in his quest for anything zombie related. However, his interests turns from a simple hobby into an obsession when his cat dies in an accident. Using an old manuscript, Furuya embarks on a quest to revive his fallen pet. During his quest however, he is discovered by the idol Rea, a popular and elegant lady from a wealthy family. Though it may appear that her life is perfect, everything is not as it seems. And she turns to Furuya, for a chance to live her life, in this life or the next.”

Review: This show is only 5 episodes in, so I can’t say I’ve finished the series. However, I will say this show got me hooked for some reason. The story seems to follow the whole “zombie” thing that’s becoming popular lately in anime, but does so with a bit of a twist. Similar to kore wa zombie a couple seasons ago. I’d say the one thing that bugs me the most is Furuya, the main character. His hair was made to look like cat ears….T_T WWHHYY? I don’t get it. lol Other than that this show has some pretty hilarious moments between the Grandpa and Furuya’s sister. So, yeah, try giving this series a show and lemme know what you think!^_^ Oh yeah, and if you’re wondering what’s up with the whole leaf thing..well..just watch the show. It makes sense after the first 2 or 3 episodes. lol

this is one of those things that can mean the difference between having brakes, then carrying on with the rest of the coarse, or potentially dying from taking a steeringwheel to the face @ 200km/h! 0_o

Well with the anime for Bleach recently ending and the anime for Gintama recently being put on hold to let the manga get farther ahead, I’m in need of some suggestions for new shows to watch. I was thinking about picking up the below shows, since those are two i’ve heard are awesome, but never actually watched them myself. lol Let me now your thoughts in the comments below as to watch I should start watching!^_^
