Finally An anime review!?
^^that’s probably what you’re thinking right? haha anyways, its been a while since i’ve done anime related stuff, so on with the show!

Hey everyone,
Motorsport season is about to get started here in the northwest and a few months back I was in the market for a new helmet. After doing my research I finally decided on a HJC AR10-II. This helmet overall was comfortable, and still looked pretty good for the price. Another bonus was the fact it had a different variety of cheek pads to choose from.
Having recently seen the new movie/Documentary Senna(click here for my review), I decide I would paint my helmet with the same overall theme as Senna’s as a tribute.
Hey everyone,
Hope you all had an eventful weekend like mine was. :p Most of it involved hanging around corolla’s, which is always fun. I have to say, I’ve loved them for a number of years and I REALLY want one now. haha
Anyways, I went to go help my buddy john as he resprayed his brother’s Carbon hood on his corolla. I forgot to get pics of the hood, but there’s a few shots of the motor and the car.
My friend recently show me this video of tsuchiya doing a lap @ Tsukuba in what looks to be an N2 race. It got me thinking as to what makes tsuchiya a good driver still given the fact of his age. To me, there were two things that stood out.
1. Footwork, this is usually what separates good drivers from better ones. It’s also something I need to work on myself, but in the video tsuchiya’s footwork is spot on! heel-toe, and his special super quick up-shifts are fun to watch.
2. Reflexes, There’s a scene in Drift Bible where he’s driving at Ebisu that also shows a good example of how quick his reflexes are. It’s also noted in this video.
I think compared to other driver’s of his generation, tsuchiya is able to remain at the top due to the above 2 skills alone. :p
Hey everyone,
So, I don’t usually ask for handouts, but my birthday is coming up on 3/19 and I’ve got the opportunity to do something really special.
I’ve recently booked a trip to japan for two weeks, and one of the things I would LOVE to do if I was able to come up with the funds is do a Private Drift Lesson Package for an entire day with Team Orange at Ebisu Circuit.
Basically, Team Orange(Kumakubo and Suenaga) have a program setup to where they give you an S14 with fuel and tires and provide 1-on-1 private lessons on drifting.
I would love to cover the costs of this myself, but I simply can’t save for spending money during for the trip and afford to cover all of this by myself. So, that’s where you come in!
I’ve setup a paypal donation link below, The total amount for this will run about $1,000, but I don’t by any means expect to receive that amount. it would be really awesome if you could contribute any amount towards helping me out and making the dollar amount a little easier to afford. I’ll include a link with some information and a video below as well.
Thanks alot, and have a good one!

*drum roll*

YES, FINALLY! I get to head over to the promised land. haha my tax return this year ended up being MASSIVE. So, instead of doing the natural thing (dumping it all into yuki) I decided to enjoy myself, and spend if on something i’ve always wanted to do. which is go to Japan. haha
I’ve gotta say thanks to Ken so far who’s put up with my badgering of endless questions since he’s been there numerous times. oh and also for the hotel reccomendation. I’ll be staying at Hotel Mid in the Meguro area of Tokyo. :p

I plan to go there for 2 weeks from the 19th of May until the 1st of June. I haven’t quite planned what I’m going to do yet once I get there, but I have a long list of things I would love to try/check out while over there.
So….yeah I guess that’s it for now. I’ll update with more details when the date gets closer. but, I figured I’d just put the announcement out there. haha
